Abstract :
This experiment was performed to investigate the effect of germination temperature on the properties of photosynthetic pigments. This research was conducted in the Seed Technology Laboratory of Shahed University, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, in a completely randomized design with three replications in 2019. The test factor consisted of a constant germination temperature at 4 temperatures of 1, 5, 10 and 15 ° C. The results of analysis of variance showed that the traits were affected by germination temperature. Germination temperature from 1 to 10 ° C reduced the content of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, total chlorophyll and carotenoids. The highest content of photosynthetic pigments was observed at 1 ° C.
