Abstract :
In this study, we investigate the impact of computer games on sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves and measure the variation of the heart rate signal during playing computer games. To do this, the human subjects heart rate was measured when performing two different computer games (exciting and fear games). The heart rate signal was recorded using heart rate sensors. The heart rate signal was processed using linear and nonlinear methods. SVM classifiers was used to classify different states. The results show that during playing games, the values of nonlinear parameters such as the ratio of SD1 / SD2, correlation dimension, and the Lyapunov exponent were reduced and the entropy was increased.
