Abstract :
-In this paper, a fast and accurate method for computing the non-linearities such as Third-order Harmonic (H3) generation and Third-order Intermodulation Distortion (IMD3) in complex superconducting structures based on the Ring Resonators is proposed. First of all, a recap of the non-linearity in the superconductors and its physical concept are mentioned. Then, the non-linear circuit model of Superconducting Ring Resonators (SRRs) is reviewed and developed to be applicable to complex structures such as multi-pole SRR based reaction type Chebyshev filters. In the third section, it is shown that the combination of the Harmonic Balance (HB) method with the non-linear circuit model computes the non-linearity quickly and accurately. The method is applied to several SRR based structure and the computed non-linearity is compared with the measurements in order to prove the claim.
