Abstract :
Antioxidants are the defense system of living cells against reactive oxygen species. This study was to investigate the effect of low-consumption element Boron priming (at five levels of zero as a control, 1 per thousand, 2 per thousand, 3 per thousand and 4 per thousand) on the antioxidant content of wheat seedlings, in factorial form in the basic design Completely randomized in 3 replications in the seed processing laboratory of Shahed University of Tehran. The results showed that the effect of Boron priming on antioxidant enzymes was significant at the level of 1 probability. Superoxide dismutase and Catalase enzymes showed most of their activity in treatment 2 per thousand Boron. Priming of Wheat seeds with this solution increased the activity of Superoxide dismutase by 85 and increased Catalase by 62.6. The highest Peroxidase activity was obtained in the treatment of 4 per thousand. Solution 4 per thousand Boron increased Peroxidase activity by 40.3.
