Abstract :
Abstract: The present research aims at investigating the effects of human resources information system on crisis management in the knowledge-based companies of Tehran Province. This is a descriptive– survey research and the studied population include all the 7500 knowledge-based company staff in Tehran Province during the research. Stratified method was used in this research too in order to obtain the sample in a way that after having determined the ratio of population members (the number of staff in knowledge-based companies in each Science and Technology Park and the development center of technology units), the percentage of each city compared to the overall population is calculated and the sample is randomly selected with the same ratio. The size of the sample is 366, but 354 of the 366 distributed questionnaires were returned. Therefore, the size of the final sample is 354. The measurement tool is questionnaire. Descriptive and inferential statistics (Kendall correlation coefficient and Friedman test) were used for data analysis. Results confirmed Human resources information system affects crisis signal detection, crisis preparation, prevention, containment, control, recovery from crisis and also affects learning from crisis in the knowledge-based companies. Ultimately, the main research hypothesis regarding the effect of human resources information system on crisis management in the knowledge-based companies of Tehran Province is confirmed at the 99 confidence level.
