Abstract :
We not only have seen the myths of patricide and filicide in various literary works of Iran and the world from a long time ago, but these myths have a long history in the heavenly texts such as Torah and Quran, in the form of a story. It is important that these myths are not only present in the classic historical and religious works, but appear in the texts and works that are published today in the form of story. The Lam Yazra novel from Bayrami is one of the works of sustainability and sacred defense that has given a new life to the form of novel, with linking novel and the myth of filicide. The present research is aimed at comparing the Lam Yazra novel with the myths of filicide in Ferdowsis Shahnameh. The main issue of this research is to answer the question of how comparable are the myth of filicide in Ferdowsis Shahnameh with this novel? This research has been analyzed with respect to its purpose and question, using library resources and descriptive and documentary method.
